Oct 2021 – present

I joined the Cloud Services team to help deliver a hub-and-spoke architecture for the wider organization. Later I moved to a platform team that now supports on the order of 50k users, centred on authentication, user management, and IAM along an OAuth2-based identity workflow.

Together with the team I grow infrastructure and backend services in a maintainable way — IaC (especially Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines keep changes traceable and repeatable.

Student (dual study program)

During my dual B.Sc. in computer science, most practical phases were spent with Markant’s Cloud Services team (alongside earlier roles). Highlights include:

Java: building solid hands-on development skills
Observability: Grafana dashboards for Kubernetes nodes, fed via a Pushgateway for reliable metric ingestion
A Go microservice to roll out and observe Azure policies, ensuring workloads can only be provisioned inside Europe
Kubernetes: moving a hand-managed pet cluster to consistent, IaC-driven operations
Service mesh: evaluation and Istio rollout for clearer traffic control and day-2 operations
Logging: an Elasticsearch stack for server and application logs — fully automated with Helm end to end
